Deviantart's 15th Birthday!

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt? 
For about two and a half years.
2. What does your username mean?
Dark Bones was actually my username for Flipnote Hatena on the Nintendo Dsi. He was a character of an unknown origin in the Super Mario series, but I gave him a silly and goofy personality. The 'HT' of the username is just 'Hatena' shortened for Flipnote Hatena. Also, DarkBonesHT just means 'fun guy' to me personally.
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Mysterious. Fun. Caring.
4. Are you left or right handed?
Right handed! But I'm still unable to beat anyone at an arm-wrestling contest.
5. What was your first deviation?
My first deviation is was Mario and Flandre Scarlet

This was my first to show to everyone I was more into crossovers than just one solid series. At the time, I was a huge Mario and Touhou Project fan. Now, I'm just a Nintendo fan. Also, this artwork was to practice colors and my printer's capabilities. So on this note, I sticked to traditional art above digital and flipnotes.
6.What is your favourite type of art to create?
Although I did say Traditional ws my favorite to make, my favorite pieces were all digital because it captured the image I was going for in my head.


And, overall, I liked out it looked in the end.
7.If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Japonism, because Japan has a very nice culture I would like to explore.
8. What was your first favourite?
My first favorite was a drawing of my character made by my friend IggyKoopa14

At the time, I was a Flipnote Artist and just started with Deviantart. I really liked how it looked and I wanted perpectives of the character. I'm still expanding on Dark Bones today.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Anything cute. Most of the time I favorite art I like and I'm not picky on who is drawing it. Also, any crossover art that has Super Mario or Ness from EarthBound in it gets a facorite from me.
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
My all-time favorite artist is Ike910 (A.K.A. JEchibi-kun). His art, by far, is my true inspiration when drawing Mario art! My goal is to draw a very cute Mario with other cute characters!
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
The artist I would meet in the real life would be 'marioandflandre' because she has amazing art and I would really want to meet her in the real life and make some collaboration art!
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Many Mario artists have impacted my life, because I saw some many cute Marios that I had to draw him that way myself! So it's tahnks to this website that I had the motivation to continue.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Pencil and paper, that's all I need... and some oranges!
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
My backyard or my gaming room while streaming Smash Bros or watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventures on Chruchyroll.
15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
My favorite Deviantart moment was when I opened an account. The first day, I was scared that I might not get along with anyone and I would just have to deactivate and keep my art to myself. Everyone at school liked my art, but I was quite doubtful of myself at the time. So I wasn't as confident as I was today. In order to keep something, you have to begin the journey and just strike down any challenges in it's path. Because I know when I'm struggling, so is my opponent. Your destiny will pull you in the right direction, believe in yourself and push forward. THAT'S what EarthBound taught me.
